RFO and its members volunteer with and support the efforts of these organizations and believe giving of our time, resources and capabilities to worthy causes for the betterment of humanity and the natural world around us is a principle each generation bears as a responsibility to the next and through action ensures such efforts continue as priorities of those generations that follow.
The Mayfly project
The Mayfly Project is a 501(c)(3) organization that uses fly fishing as a catalyst to mentor children in foster care. TMP’s mission is to support children in foster care through fly fishing and introduce them to their local water ecosystems, with the hope that connecting them to a rewarding hobby will provide an opportunity for foster children to have fun, feel supported, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.

The Campfire Conservation fund inc.
The Committee on Conservation of Forests and Wildlife was organized by members of The Campfire Club of America in 1909 and its conservation efforts further advanced through the formation of The Fund in 1977 as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) membership organization, with offices on the Camp Fire Club of America’s preserve in Chappaqua, NY. RFO’s principal is a member of the Conservation Committee and financial supporter of the Fund’s efforts.
American Hotel and lodging association foundation
Established in 1953, the AHLA Foundation is a charitable not-for-profit organization who’s mission is to help people build careers, improve their lives, and strengthen the lodging industry. The Foundation achieves this by giving them necessary tools, resources, and education so they are able to launch long-term careers in the hospitality industry which touches every one of our communities. RFO and its affiliates are financial contributors supporting this mission.
